Most businesses are trading on the day they sign up. Account creation takes a few minutes, and you can send your first invoice before verification finishes.
What happens, in order
- Create the account with your email and business name.
- Add your business details for verification.
- Invite the staff who need access and set their roles.
- Import your customer and product lists, if you have them.
Steps one, three and four are immediate. Only verification involves a wait, and it does not block you from setting everything else up.
What usually takes longest
Not the software. The two things that stretch setup are deciding who should be able to approve what, and cleaning up existing customer and product lists so they are worth importing.
Doing that cleanup before you import saves fixing it twice.
